What originally began as a small "booklet" to identify and inventory pieces in our personal collection, was four years in the making and became a full-scale hard bound book as other collectors voiced their need for the same kind of information.
With the realization that such a book would have great utilitarian value not only to individual collectors, but also to museums and beneficiaries of such collections, an exhaustive research effort into past and present artisans has culminated in the most comprehensive reference ever compiled.

Every possible known source was explored, from the most obvious to the obscure, gradually distilling a wealth of information into a clear, concise record of lucidity and accuracy. The result is a reference guide that both enriches the miniature as a true art form and ennobles the artisans who have made vital contributions in this area.
Hard bound in sturdy dark blue Roxite with gold stamping on front and spine, measures 8¾ inches by 11¼ inches, 550 pages.
Arranged alphabetically by artisan name, includes business name, identification marks, category of work, honors bestowed, recognition, with an autobiography (for most listings), plus a carefully prepared cross-reference index to aid you in your search.
